New York, NY - Rockefeller & Co., Inc. - a leading global wealth management firm serving high-net-worth individuals, families, trusts, foundations and endowments - announced today that its Integrated Wealth Services (IWS) business has appointed Daniel H. Berg as Chief Technology Officer, effective immediately. The Chief Technology Officer role is a newly created position based out of New York City that report directly to Roy King, President and Chief Executive Officer of IWS, and a Managing Director of Rockefeller & Co.
Rockefeller & Co.’s IWS business provides cost-effective back and middle office services to both Rockefeller & Co. clients, as well as on an outsourced basis to single-family and multi-family offices, high wealth individuals and financial institutions. At the core of IWS services is a proven technology-enabled service platform that provides IWS clients with reconciled, flexible and actionable data aggregation and reporting across their financial portfolios. As of September 30, IWS administered approximately $30 billion in assets.

In his new role as Chief Technology Officer, Daniel Berg, 42, will develop and modify the IWS technology roadmap based on market and client-driven requirements and will also focus on product architecture, evolution, and integration of new technologies into the existing infrastructure.
Prior to joining IWS, Mr. Berg was Senior Vice President, Product Development at Foundation Source Philanthropic Services, Inc., where he led a team that brought innovative philanthropic and financial technology and services to the ultra high net worth community. He has also led R&D and product development efforts at both public and privately-held commercial technology companies, including Eastman Software - a division of Eastman Kodak, Wang Software, Comfidex Corp. and others. He holds a Master of Science degree in Computer Science from New York University and a Bachelor of Science degree in Cognitive Science from the University of Rochester.
